LO 13.3
Goals of this Course
The goals of this course were to help you develop the critical thinking and collective problem solving skills necessary to analyze and evaluate the complicated relationship that humans have with the physical world, and to give you the tools to act as agents of change. As such, this course was a combination of helping you gain knowledge about the environmental world around you and practice in the millennium transferable skills that will hopefully help you apply this knowledge to tackling those problems in the future (and getting jobs!). We also emphasized exposure to guest speakers working in Environmental Studies careers so that you could begin to envision what your path to future careers might look like. For your final LO of the semester, please respond to the following questions in a thoughtful way.
Part 1
Did this combination of working on both background knowledge (readings and weekly LOs) and active multifaceted problem-solving projects help achieve these goals? Do you feel that you learned more this way or would a traditional format of multiple choice tests and quizzes throughout the course have enhanced your learning more?

Part 2
What was your favorite part about the course structure? What aspects do you think you will take with you in your future courses (topics, study styles, etc.)?
|
Part 3
What part of the course was least helpful to you? What tips do you have that could help us to keep adding value to this course. What could be changed to make it better?
